Sara is currently a Researcher with the National Suicide Research Foundation on the SSIS-ACE case-control study “Psychosocial, psychiatric and work-related risk factors associated with suicide in Ireland”. Sara’s main research interest lies in the area of Occupational Health and Safety. She holds a Masters in Occupational Health and higher Degree in Environmental Health. Sara is involved in teaching within the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in University College Cork. She has also been the coordinator for the MSc in Occupational Health and is currently involved in the coordination of this course in an online/distance learning format. Additionally, Sara is currently completing her PhD in Occupational Health and her research is focused on the psychosocial aspects of work.
