Nora Conway

Research Assistant

Nora joined the NSRF team in 2020 as a Research Assistant, working on a collaborative project between the HSE and NSRF. The project is led by Dr. Ella Arensman and seeks to evaluate the Open Dialogue initiative, recently rolled out in Bantry as part of West Cork Mental Health Services.

As a research assistant her role is very much supportive and involves anything from conducting literature reviews, to ethics management, data collection and analysis. Nora recently graduated from University College Cork with a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology Mental Health.

Nora’ s background is in education, having previously worked as a project manager with Suas Educational Development, and has taught in various educational institutions in Cork city and beyond. Her research interests primarily focus on human resilience, post-traumatic growth, neurorehabilitation, mental health and well-being.
